Filters and spark plugs should not be replaced blindly by mileage alone. Operating environment, service history and manufacturer intervals are considered together.
What is reviewed?
- Inspect the air filter for contamination and deformation
- Compare oil-filter interval with service history
- Match the spark plug to the manufacturer type and gap specification
- Inspect plug condition when ignition symptoms exist
- Match replacement parts using the correct part reference
Model-specific limit: Spark plug type, electrode gap and filter reference are verified for the exact model.
